SIC ACE-TEC and TOUGH-TEC products are proudly produced in Vannes (Brittany), France, at the forefront of eco-minded manufacturing. This strategy helps SIC ensure stringent quality control and sets us apart from other manufacturers who predominantly produce their goods in Asia.

Both ACE-TEC and TOUGH-TEC utilize thermo-formed skins, watertight EPS cores, and externally molded inserts. Both technologies use low energy consumption, no pollution, and resource conservation.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MANUFACTURE

LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION

  • Short production cycle

  • Short Infra-red heating cycle

  • Low electricity consumption

NO POLLUTION

  • Closed circuit cooling of the mould

  • No gas emissions

  • No solvents

RESSOURCE CONSERVATION

  • Rejection rate (less than 2.5/1000)

  • Surplus material systematically recycled

  • A capacity per mould 5 times greater than standart techniques

RECYCLABLE PART

  • Tough-Tec paddleboards can be entirely recycled at the end of their life cycle.

ACE-TEC technology consists of thermoforming ASA polymer sheets around a molded polystyrene watertight foam core covered in fiberglass layers. Cut-off waste during production is recycled back into the process.  The EVA deck pad ensures a comfortable feel. The external inserts are molded. No water will penetrate the hull. ACE-TEC technology offers an unrivaled strength-to-weight ratio.
