It features a medium-to-high aspect ratio with a V-anhedral profile that enhances upwind performance and reduces drag. The V-anhedral gives the trailing edge a looser appearance at rest, but it tightens once powered up. This built-in flex helps reduce back stalling and makes this wing more nimble going up without losing power.
The unique segmented strut design minimizes weight while creating more space between the boom and strut. This provides greater freedom for maneuvers and freestyle moves. A long, ergonomic carbon boom provides lightweight handling and enhances the stiffness of the center strut. It also delivers precise power control and allows flexibility in grip positioning.
Each Dragon wing comes with an installed boom, leash, bag, and pump for easy transport, quick setup, and added safety. The Dragon is constructed with multiple advanced materials strategically placed to maximize performance and durability without breaking the bank.
Premium ALUULA AERIS X FX86 laminated fabric is placed on three-quarters of the leading edge. This placement delivers ultra-high performance with a lighter and stiffer feel where it's needed most. The fabric is 30-50% lighter, 3-4 times stronger, and 6 times more tear-resistant than traditional materials. Its multi-axis fiber orientation enhances mechanical properties in all directions. Additionally, the fabric reduces the leading-edge diameter by approximately 15%. This results in lower drag, faster speeds, and improved stability.
EXOTEX 2 ULTRA-RIGID DACRON is used on the center strut and wing tips, providing excellent tear resistance, durability, and minimal stretch at a more accessible price. It also allows for flexibility in the wing tips, improving ease of power management.
3DF canopy uses two optimized fabric weights to create a strong skeleton along stress lines, reinforce the trailing edge, and maintain the wing's profile over time for increased longevity.
