Bio:
" As a kid, I was always drawn to the water, fishing, swimming, and windsurfing. I was consistently active in water sports, and windsurfing became my passion. Following Taty Frans' footsteps, I competed in professional slalom and became a multiple-time champion. My addiction to water sports was so strong that even on windless days, I would windfoil to stay competitive in every windsurfing division.
In 2021, I began wing foiling and found excitement in it. Wing freestyle has always presented a challenge, but I'm in love with the complicated and crazy movements. Slalom racing is undoubtedly my forte, and I excel at it. Racing on a wing foil is like a shot of adrenaline; gliding on the water at high speeds and feeling the wind's power is my ultimate addiction.
In my daily life, windsurfing and wing foiling are my passions. I also love teaching both. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my expertise in these sports and witness the positive impact they have on my students. I'm deeply in love with the island lifestyle, where water and sun are abundant, and the positive vibes continuously fuel my athletic pursuits. "

Bio:
Rasmus Sayre is a lifelong water sports athlete. A childhood spent living on the island of Martha’s Vineyard fueled a passion for being on the water. His parents, both former professional windsurfers, engrained in him a competitive racing spirit. Rasmus followed in his parents’ footsteps, racing windsurfers worldwide, along the way winning youth national and international championships.
He credits his ability to read the wind and water conditions on his time competitively sailing dinghies, where the slower pace of racing turns the ocean into a chess board. Rasmus also raced kite foils and was an early adopter of wingfoiling. These experiences prepared him to be a top competitor in the developing sport of wingfoil racing.
Home base for Rasmus is Massachusetts, and when he isn’t out wing foiling, surfing, downwind SUP foiling, or spearfishing, he coaches sailing and works to protect the beautiful wild spaces that he enjoys every day.
“ YOU HAVE NOT WON THE RACE UNLESS IN DOING SO YOU HAVE EARNED THE RESPECT OF YOUR COMPETITORS. ”

" I plunged headfirst into the world of wing foiling during the tumultuous pandemic. My journey started with the SUP foil, but my heart was set on soaring above the water. Wing foiling allowed me to explore local reefs and locations on Maui I had not been able to reach before.
In 2022, I started my journey into downwind racing, a pursuit that has become my passion. Annually, I participate in the SIC Gorge Paddle Challenge, a unique downwinding event in the US, and in local races on Maui, where the concept of downwinding originated.
In every wave conquered, every race completed, and every moment shared with my family, I discover fulfillment as an athlete, a devoted father, and a true waterman. "

" I initially got into foiling to explore the thrill of downwind runs, seeking greater speed and new possibilities. The sensation was incredible, and I immediately recognized the foil's potential!
Next, I ventured into wingfoiling to experience the exciting opportunities this discipline offers. It's a completely new way to enjoy any water condition. It's incredibly fun to fly in light winds, navigate freely, ride small waves, and quickly return to the break zone. For me, it significantly enhances the feeling of speed and freeriding on the water.
One of my best experiences was crossing Lake Neuchâtel on a downwind SUP foil. I never imagined doing something like that, and even on a lake, the descent felt magical! Now, I'm thrilled to teach foiling, as people experience incredible sensations on their first flights. "
