Front wings and rear stabilizers control lift and maneuverability when on foil. They vary in wingspan, chord length, thickness, and shape. They work in unison to achieve the flight characteristics you may prefer. Foils come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Shorter foil blades spans and thicker foils (LAR) tend to provide early lift, stay on foil longer, whereas longer, thinner foil blades fly high and fast but take more proficiency.
